The Ontario government is investing over $30 million in additional one-time funding to support York Region Public Health with costs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting January 23, riders on Durham Region Transit, York Regional Transit, Burlington Transit and Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) can tap credit cards to pay fares on a PRESTO device, including credit cards on a smartphone or a smartwatch.
On Wednesday, MPP Laura Smith and MPP Stephen Lecce congratulated the team at Reena on the Capital grant it received from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to improve its HVAC systems in the buildings that host its community participation programs for persons with developmental disabilities. The news of the grant came on the day that Reena marked its 50th Anniversary in the community.
