THORNHILL — The Ontario government is supporting an investment of $15 million by Clover Tool Manufacturing Ltd. to boost local manufacturing and create 14 new good-paying jobs in Thornhill.
THORNHILL — The Ontario government is supporting an investment of $9,060,688 by Accord Plastics Corp. to boost local manufacturing and create 12 new good-paying jobs in Concord.
PORT COLBORNE — The Ontario government is welcoming a $200 million investment by Jungbunzlauer to expand its existing facility in Port Colborne, which will create 50 new jobs and strengthen regional supply chains.
The Ontario government is welcoming a $5 million investment by Macrodyne Technologies Inc., North America’s largest manufacturer of hydraulic presses and automation systems, equipment used by manufacturers in over 40 industries to shape and mould materials such as metal, plastic, rubber and wood. This investment will be used to purchase the latest manufacturing technology for the company’s facilities in Vaughan and create 25 new good-paying jobs for machine builders, electricians, hydraulic technicians and engineers.
The Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) is launching the new OVIN Demonstration Zone in partnership with the City of Vaughan and the City of Markham. This new $7.3 million project includes $2.5 million in support from the Ontario government through OVIN and $1.4 million in combined funding from the City of Vaughan and the City of Markham.
To attract additional investment in the province’s economy, the Ontario government is announcing plans for a new Ontario Made Manufacturing Investment Tax Credit to help local manufacturers grow, innovate, become more competitive and create jobs.
